This early spark eventually followed him through his service in the United States Navy, where he was stationed in Virginia and introduced to the intricacies of saltwater kayak fishing. After completing his enlistment, he moved to Florida to settle on the Treasure Coast, transitioning from a passionate angler into a professional guide who has spent years mastering the local patterns of both the Atlantic and the inland canal systems.

For Captain Robwil, the most rewarding aspect of guiding is the human connection and the memories made on the deck.
